Butterfly Valve “Wafer” and “Lug”

WAFER and LUG butterfly valves are interposed radially between two flanges. They are normally used on pipelines and systems for regulating or blocking the flow.

They differ from each other in the type of holes: WAFER butterfly valves have smooth through-holes, while LUG butterfly valves have threaded holes.
