The alveolar cooling plates are characterised by technical peculiarities in compliance with the ones described for Art. 680 – Canal cooling plate.
The main feature of the alveolar cooling plate, which distinguishes from the canal one, depends on the assembly of two shells thanks to different points of welding and the following inflation. Indeed, this specific shape, which is called “bugnatura”, allows the flow of the coolant not only inside the canals of the cooling plate, but also inside the whole surface of the plate.
